Celebrating Young Orators at the Inter-School Elocution Competition

The Power of Voice – Inter-School Elocution Competition Celebrating Expression, Confidence, and Communication. On [07.06.2025], our school hosted an inspiring Inter-School Elocution Competition, bringing together young voices from various institutions to celebrate the art of public speaking. More than a contest, the event was a platform for students to express, engage, and elevate their thinking through the power of words. The competition was enriched by a distinguished panel of judges: Ms. P. Rajalakshmi, a seasoned educator; Ms. Sangeetha, a Tamil and media expert; Mr. Thanga Kumaran, an academic and department head; and Ms. Karishma, a trainer in communication and emotional literacy. Their diverse expertise ensured insightful evaluation and added immense value to the event. To recognize and encourage excellence, our school management generously sponsored cash awards—₹10,000 for First Place, ₹5,000 for Second, and ₹3,000 for Third. These prizes served as a strong motivation for students to pursue communication with conviction and purpose. The atmosphere was vibrant as participants delivered well-prepared speeches on a range of topics, judged on clarity, content, and confidence. It wasn’t merely a competition—it was a celebration of student voice, educator guidance, and the belief that powerful communication shapes empowered minds.
