Janmashtami Celebration at School
Our school celebrated Janmashtami with great devotion and enthusiasm, marking the birth anniversary of Lord Krishna. The event began with a small, serene puja, invoking blessings for all. The highlight of the celebration was the delightful performances by our little ones from LKG and UKG. Their charming dances and enactments filled the atmosphere with joy and devotion. The event beautifully captured the spirit of Janmashtami, leaving everyone with a sense of peace and happiness.
Starting in 2024, National Space Day will be celebrated annually on August 23rd to commemorate the success of Chandrayaan-3, as declared by the Government of India. This day serves as a beacon of inspiration for the young generation, encouraging them to dream big and explore the vast possibilities of space.
In our school, students from grade 3 onwards enthusiastically participated in various activities, including poster making and attending online workshops organised by the government on the “Bharat on the Moon” portal. The theme for the year, “Touching Lives While Touching the Moon,” inspired creativity and curiosity, fostering a brighter future for space exploration in India.

Adityans commemorated the birth of the city by celebrating Madras Day at school. Pupils enthusiastically engaged in a range of activities that showcased the city’s cultural legacy, including speeches, singing, and pencil sketches of significant landmarks.
On World Photography Day, our school organised a vibrant competition for students from grades 6 to 9. Our school tasked young photographers with capturing the essence of nature and the creativity in everyday life through their lenses. The students rose to the challenge, showcasing their talent by capturing stunning moments of nature. The top three photographs will be awarded, celebrating the exceptional creativity and keen eye of our budding photographers.
RAKSHA BANDHAN CELEBRATION
At our school, Raksha Bandhan was celebrated enthusiastically, focusing on creativity and the spirit of love and care. Students from grades 1, 2, and 3 showcased their artistic talents by crafting their rakhis, each a unique symbol of the bond between friends. Grades 4 and 5 expressed their heartfelt emotions by making Raksha Bandhan cards with beautiful and thoughtful messages. The grade 6 students took a creative approach by making art out of waste materials and designing mehendis, adding a special touch to the celebration. On the occasion of the 78th Independence Day, our school hosted a vibrant celebration that brought together students from grades 6 to 12, who proudly participated in the march past and the flag hoisting ceremony. The program, held during the morning assembly, was a grand display of patriotism. It was attended by dignitaries who delivered inspiring speeches, emphasizing the importance of freedom and responsibility.
The event continued with cultural programs showcasing the rich diversity of our nation. The younger students, from KG to grade 5, watched the proceedings with enthusiasm, cheering on their seniors. The ceremony concluded with the singing of the National Anthem, instilling a deep sense of pride among all present. Each student was given a national flag badge to wear and sweets to enjoy, marking the day with joy and unity.
In Grade 1, students participated in a STEAM activity where they created models and charts on topics such as the environment, force, and motion. This hands-on project allowed the children to explore scientific concepts creatively while reinforcing their understanding through model-building. Each student had the opportunity to explain their model, demonstrating their grasp of the subject and their ability to communicate ideas. This activity not only deepened their knowledge but also encouraged critical thinking, creativity, and confidence in presenting their work.
