World Mental Health Day Celebration
World Mental Health Day is established by World health organisation in 1992 which is celebrated on October 10 to raise awareness and reduce stigma around mental health. The theme for 2024 is ‘Mental Health at Work’. This theme emphasises the crucial role of addressing mental health and well-being in the workplace, benefiting not only individuals but also organisations and communities as a whole.Fostering mental health among students is a collective responsibility involving educators, parents, and peers by promoting awareness, providing resources, and encouraging supportive relationships to overcome the challenges. Prioritizing Emotional well being and mental health is essential for students and Educators to thrive academically and personally. By implementing strategies of self-care, recognizing signs of distress, and building supportive communities, students and Educators can enhance their overall well-being. Our madam counsellor vidhyalakshmi took over the session for grade 10-12 students on this very day apt to it .
