Live Market Activity by Grade VI

The students of Grade VI at Aditya Vidyashram School brought classroom learning to life through an innovative Live Market Activity, conducted as part of their Tamil subject lesson. The objective was to help children relate the concept from the textbook to a real-life experience by engaging in a practical demonstration of fruit, vegetable, and edible item sales. Students enthusiastically took on the roles of buyers and sellers, using Tamil vocabulary in real-time communication. This interactive learning experience not only enhanced their language skills but also developed their confidence, teamwork, and social interaction abilities. The event received wonderful support from parents, who encouraged and motivated their children by contributing items and participating with great enthusiasm. The collective efforts of all the teaching and non-teaching staff added to the success of the event, ensuring smooth organization and joyful participation from every student. A heartfelt appreciation goes to Surya Ma’am, whose creative planning and dedicated guidance made this activity possible and impactful. The Live Market turned out to be a memorable learning experience blending education, enjoyment, and teamwork in a vibrant and meaningful way.
